Correctional Institution Systems Installation Technician

(overnight travel required)

Securitec has openings for capable individuals to install cutting-edge & integrated low-voltage systems. This is a FULL TIME position that requires travel as well as the following:

  • The ability to work inside of adult & juvenile correctional institutions.
  • Regular out-of-town travel, usually within the state of Ohio. Typical work week is Monday - Thursday working {10) hour shifts. Limited travel expenses are covered by the company.
  • A clear & clean criminal background check, satisfactory driving record with no DUI history, and passing pre-employment and random drug testing.
  • Installation of low voltage systems in correctional, medical and senior care facilities.
  • Experience with installation of cabling, conduit & fixtures.
  • Knowledge of general building construction, reading blueprints & working with Windows-based software.
  • Use of manual & electric hand tools, working with ladders & lifts, and the ability to properly lift {75) pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to perform work according to directives, possess a positive "can do" attitude, and be a team contributor.

Training for installing our product line will be provided, as needed.
